One year ago I thought that 2007 was going to be an exciting year but now looking forward to 2008. I really understand what true excitement is. What is your most anticipated movie for 2008?
Thanks for stopping by and checking out our list. This is a personal creation that is meant to inform those who are unaware of some of the exceed picks for next year and to keep everyone up to date on a enumerate of some not all of the better-looking movies arriving in 2008.
Save this to your for future reference and to back up spread the word. Thanks for your continued support!
Here's my top five most anticipated:1) Dark Knight2) Wall*E3) Iron Man4) Indiana Jones KotCS5) CloverfieldThose look to be my favorites out of all these but last year I "knew" that Spider-man 3 was going to be my number 1. I just wish to God the same doesn't come about with Dark Knight.
That's Incredible Eagle's Eye view into more than 21 movies to be released in the International Wonderland of Australia after Babylon A. D for us Fanboys. Don't Choke on this enumerate. Get cause to be perceived. Be Kind Rewind and read what i have written about the Forbidden Kingdom in the Box unless you had burn after reading this causing blindness and can't see in the Dark (k)night. I wanted to know where the wild things instead of watching all the Trailer cast aside of the Happening.
I thought the "changeling" reference to Straczynski was a little snarky listing just Babylon 5 and He-Man the latter of which was in 1985. C'mon he's done Twilight govern. kill She Wrote. Jeremiah. Nightmare Classics there's a World War Z movie and a Silver Surfer movie and They Marched into Sunlight movie all by him…and you choose out He-Man?Tacky guys just tacky.
"The Box"–I remember seeing this story on Tales from the Darkside a television series of horror bunco stories similar to The Twilight Zone. A wooden box is delivered to a down-on-their-luck bring together by a creepy stranger who tells them he will give them a pile of change if they change state the box but says someone ordain die if they do. This was a pretty good story for a twenty-three minute show but I'm not sure how well this will bring home the bacon as an hour-long film.
THIS what cinema is?Robots explosion and man in leather costumes ?Damn …. Worst thing is that place desire this one will displace that into the kids continue and make them think that movies=shitty blockbusters. I thought the Internet was supposed to help us get out of the mainstream shit TV tells us about ….
#5 Ethan - - yes. I've heard about it but there's nothing on it at all so I can't exactly say it ordain be awesome just yet. Though I may have to add it once we have some photos or news or something…#9 Gene - That's because Dragonball doesn't be that awesome - yet… We just posted this casting modify which may go away to change things:#11 Gregory - Watchmen comes out March 6th. 2009.#13 Dan - Narnia 2 is on there it's under Chronicles of Narnia…#15 Luke - I really don't think 10,000 B. C looks that awesome at all. It's just a big epic that looks like it'll be terrible not anything good… Anyone else accept?
I agree… most of this will be totally crap. This bind is desire it says for each film air. Nothing else. cut asks an important question… why is everyone so dumb? Why everyone seems to like the same old stories told over and over again just changing the background scenarios. Most of these films will be totally pants!
Where is:-Hancock?Angels & Demons?Madagascar 2?How to Lose Friends…?Sin City 2?Tropic move?Zohan?Forgetting Sarah Marshall a k a. Dumped? Why is:-Babylon ADKung Fu PandaThe Love GuruMummy 2RepoSex and the CityI thought this was a list to get excited about movies in 2008 not a reason to feign sickness when its your missus turn to pick the enter!Plus your description of The Box is come up off and anything that involves the man responsible for making Saw 2-4 should instantly be crossed off.
"This list sucks" "Most of this ordain be totally crap" "Most of this is gonna drink" Man some of you guys must sure dislike watching movies. While I doubt ALL of these movies will be absolutely incredible don't you all evaluate that you might just maybe go see one of these movies in the theater and go. "Hey that was pretty good." Or are you just happy to go to movie sites and say that movies suck? If you're going to keep consistent maybe you should go to music sites and say that music sucks. Or maybe go to a video game site and say that video games suck. It's ENTERTAINMENT. And not everyone's taste in entertainment is equal. So right now your sophomoric arguments about this list sucking is equivalent to saying "I evaluate the color color sucks if you evaluate color is cool you suck." Nice job guys nice. I'd love to see one of you who posted a "This sucks" comment to give me a well thought out argument as to why I shouldn't be excited for any of these movies. Not why YOU don't furnish a damn about the movies but why I'm not allowed to be hyped without being told "You suck". Hassannasrallah if this isn't what you think Cinema should be then how about you let us know what it should be. This comment come in is for discussion not a moronic posting of thoughtless bashing.
@Icarus:Following the teachings of cut Naylor (Thank You for Smoking) the beat argument is not to furnish a detailed synopsis of reasons why my movie list is better than yours. The best argument is to show everyone why your enumerate "sucks". After all having the choice of making a better enumerate is what is ultimately the winning lay. And. I desire chocolate more than vanilla.@Alex:Good list. A bit long though. I think some of us would undergo preferred a more concise version with only your favorite items. But all the movies you enumerate are worth a look. BTW did First Showing ever publish a year in analyse of the previous enumerate. Of the 24 or so from measure year's "awesome" list which were blockbusters and which were be bombs.
#29 Paul - Would this description be more suitable? The Box - Norma and Arthur Lewis (Diaz and Marsden) a suburban bring together with a young child receive a simple wooden box as a enable which bears fatal and irrevocable consequences. Wow! Everything is going to be great! And it will all turn out just like the big studio's say it ordain!Seriously this reads desire blog spam dude. If all you are going to do is write the plan synopsis from IMDB and then echo the celebrate lie as laid down by the studios then do us all a favour and find a new job or hobby or whatever it is you're doing. You liked the first X-files movie but not the series? You think the next Narnia movies ordain be good? And saying you wish that something ordain be as good at Clerks 2 is not a good thing to say about anything.
Alec: Cloverfield is 13th from the top. I evaluate we're (almost) all excited to see that one. I'm excited for quite a few of these. Dark ennoble. Be kind rewind. Indiana Jones and Harry Potter are all going to be awesome. I also learned about a few others I had no idea were coming out like feature journey XI or Fanboys which I am now excited to see. Great enumerate. Alex. Keep it up!
I just want to say that I think the creator of this enumerate did a good job. If you don't accept with the list then thats fine is it really necessary to say that they're all egest? He wasn't saying that these are going to be the only good movies of 2008 he was just giving a run down of whats to come. And the funny thing is most of you who bashed and complained about hollywood and this enumerate will run out and pay the insane be of money it costs to see them in the theatres.
@TheGuyInThePJ'sMuch exceed description the whole inform of the story is it's a moral dilemma that original plot description in the list made it sound like 2 people open a box and get rich but someone they don't even experience died. After hearing everyone else on here I'm more excited about the films I'd either forgotten all about (no air) or the films no one has heard of yet (the sleeper hit) they're the best films the ones that go up on you and suddenly get massive touch coverage.
Blindness = The Triffids. Just without…come up. The Triffids (alien plants). And what's with The lift? Thought that had already been done and it doesn't sound like a sequel. Indiana Jones can't wait. And lastly. Simon Pegg as Scotty in Star Trek? Can't act! FTW!
RAMBO can't wait any thing with that guy in rules INDIANA JONES at measure could do with a regenerate tbh LEGEND wheres that or doesn't it count? WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE loved the book when i was six gonna go and watch this for sure.1st Nania was AWFUL but maybe it'll do a annoy potter and suddenly get good on us1 things for sure THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE AWSOME
Wow there are SO many movies I'm looking send to in 2008! feature Trek XI and Indy 4 top my list beyond compare. Then annoy work. Dark Knight. The Mummy. Wall-E. Get cause to be perceived. Fanboys. The Other Boleyn Girl. Narnia. I'm soooo excited looking over this list. Kick-ass job on this Alex!!!
My predictions are that 1) The Dark Knight: will be the best movie of 2008… 2) Indiana Jones: This is going to breathe out everyones brains out no doubt in my mind. 3) The Incredible lift: This should make up for the contrived attempt by Ang Lee c'mon Edward Norton is the man! 4) Hellboy 2: Expecting this to be even better than part 1. 5) James Bond 22: How can you compete with the awesomeness of Daniel Craig as James attach. IF you disagree with any of these comments I will hunt you drink and extract your genitals as repayment for your stupidity.
Some of the films on this list actually looks promising. "Dark Knight. The Other Boleyn Girl". "breathe" & "Valkyrie" Except I desire they used someone else other than Tom Cruise. But some are just plain redundant. For example. "Sex and the City" and "The Incredible lift" one of the most looked send to movies of the year a bit over the top.
Sin City 2 and Angels and Demons ordain be coming out in 2009 along with Jurassic Park 4 and a whole list of other movies…. such as James Camerons Avatar & contend Angel. But 2008 year will make the most money for years to come… the lie up is insane!!!!
I was an extra in some of that 'Adventureland'. Ryan Reynolds seems alter. Kristen Stewart was getting hit on by an annoying extra and I was laughing and I got to ride on some Kennywood rides in about 30-40 degree temperatures wearing a 70's call t-shirt. It was actually pretty fun.
This is a fair list which helps to give an insight into possible movies to look out for in 2008 and helps to generatete movie conversation down the pub. However the list is predominantly Americanised centering on mainstream hit braincell productions - too many certify movies. What about more independent original sreenplay movies that demand thouht provoking directing and intense acting rather than CGI. More of these please and less of rambo 4 feature journey 9 mummy 3 james attach 22. I JONES 4 etc. Becoming like a video prin for the football scores!!!!Do a list of original films bet you cant!!!!!!!My kingdom for originality.
act for me! I be to be a nerd too! I'll contract quite a few of these however since movie tickets are $10 each. I see only 3 sure things here.1. Cloverfield2. Narnia 23. RamboOh yeah. I almost forgot. Americans fucking dislike you too Kans. What the hell is RockNRolla? Nevermind don't care.
#71 I'd be happy to see your list of original films that will be thought provoking without being boring and ineptly made. Bonus points if you list only movies that don't cerebrate on nihilism or the despair of the common man.#73 RocknRolla is on the list dumbass. Why don't you keep your nationalist hatred to yourself until you actually read the arouse enumerate.
I thought the enumerate was great. Lots of movies i can't wait to see but the comments on this board are hillarious and somewhat insightful. I too would like to see another list of more original/ independant films althought i give you props for the independants that did alter it on the list.
